1010-11 Urn for Pet Ashes

This is an urn that I made to order for a client’s beloved pet’s ashes.  It is made from “Herbie” Elm holds approximately 1 cup and is finished with pure tung oil.

1009-02 Tulip Poplar Bowl

This bowl was made from Tulip Poplar and is about 5 1/2” diameter and 1 1/2” deep it has grooves cut into the bottom of the bowl. It was finished using Pure Tung Oil and buffed and polished using Carnuba wax. The finish is food safe and should last for years with proper care. Simply wipe the bowl using a damp dish towel. Like all wooden bowls this bowl is NOT dishwasher or Microwave safe.

This bowl was turned from Figured Maple and finished using Pure Tung Oil. It is approximately 10” Diameter and 3” Deep with a 5” pedestal.

Claro Walnut Bowl

This is an embellished bowl made of Claro Walnut it is approximately 7” x 2” and has been finished using Pure Tung oil and wax.  Like all turned wooden bowls it is not Dishwasher or Microwave safe and can be wiped clean using a damp cloth.  It should provide years of pleasure.

Embellished Cherry Bowl

This bowl is made of American Cherry and has been embellished with a design around the outside rim.  It is approximately 7” in diameter and 3 inches deep.  It has been finished using pure tung oil and wax.  It is food safe but like all hand turned wood producte it is not Dishwasher or Microwave Safe.  It should be cared for by wiping with a damp rag and should provide years of lasting enjoyment.

This 10” Maple platterwas turned from a beautiful piece of figured Maple it is approximately 10” x 1/2” and has been finished using Pure Tung oil and wax.  Like all turned wooden bowls it is not Dishwasher or Microwave safe and can be wiped clean using a damp cloth.  It should provide years of pleasure.

Apple Burl

This piece was turned green from an apple wood burl that was cut down right here in Falmouth Maine.  It is slightly distorted as burls are want to do.  It is approximately 5” in Diameter by 2” deep and has been finished with mineral oil and wax. Like all turned wooden bowls it is not Dishwasher or Microwave safe and can be wiped clean using a damp cloth.  It should provide years of pleasure.
